Job summary

New York City Department of Transportation IT & Telecom division seeks a Senior IT Architect to lead full-stack development and enterprise architecture initiatives. You will design, develop, and integrate applications using .NET, SQL Server, and modern web technologies, while mentoring junior developers.

You will collaborate with PMO and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support the agency's mission.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field.
Six or ten years of experience in enterprise/solutions/network architecture or IT infrastructure per the resume options.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design, development, and API integrations for enterprise applications.
Define application architecture and evaluate stacks for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Mentor developers and guide best practices in the .NET/Microsoft stack.
Collaborate with PMO and business units to deliver aligned solutions.
Develop documentation including use case diagrams and high-level design artifacts.
Estimate task timelines and participate in ALM with Git/Azure DevOps/Jira.
