Job summary

NetImpact Strategies seeks a Senior .NET Developer to own a large-scale, cloud-native enterprise app in AWS GovCloud. You will lead design and coding across microservices, REST APIs, and data access, while guiding peers and ensuring secure, scalable delivery.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes (Rancher), RabbitMQ, and AWS SQS to maintain high availability and performance, while integrating AI-assisted tools to accelerate development and maintain code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level hands-on development with C#, .NET Core, and modern .NET (8/9/10).
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience in AWS GovCloud environments.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Kubernetes management via Rancher.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
• Strong PostgreSQL development and AWS RDS usage.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and AI frameworks.
• Experience with SonarQube and static code analysis.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior developer responsible for design, development, maintenance and improvement of a large-scale production app.
• Own the codebase and partner with Technical Lead to set direction and standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs in C#/.NET 10/.NET Core.
• Develop cloud-native apps deployed in AWS GovCloud.
• Build scalable, highly available services processing millions of messages monthly.
• Develop event-driven solutions using RabbitMQ and AWS SQS.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data access in AWS RDS.
• Containerize apps with Docker and Kubernetes, including Rancher-managed clusters.
• Support AI-enabled features and review AI-generated code for security and quality.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers; promote best practices.
• Ensure code quality with automated scans (SonarQube) and secure coding practices.
• Manage source control and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
