Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to participate in the full software development lifecycle. You will build interfaces between web services, SQL, Dynamics, APIs, and microservices in Azure Application Service Environments and Windows VMs.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and onsite work in Alexandria, VA, five days a week. A BS in CS or related field and 10+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience with enterprise apps and modern architectures.
• Experience developing and managing APIs.
• Strong Javascript UI experience (Angular).
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of web apps with SQL backend and Angular frontend.
• Use DevSecOps toolchains for building, merging, deploying, and testing components.
• Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures and queries for large shared databases.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs following best practices.
• Build web front-ends with Angular.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master and leads to translate requirements into features.
• Work with testers and end users to identify root causes and resolve issues.

Job Description

The Senior .NET Developer participates in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. Our services provide interfaces between web services and SQL, Dynamics, microservices, and other infrastructure components in a mix of Azure Application Service Environments and Windows Virtual Machines.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• This position requires working onsite in Alexandria, VA, 5 days per week

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Related Field
• At minimum 10 years' related work experience
• Self starter, able to work well in a team environment.
• Advanced skill and expertise in .NET software development, including both .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and modern application architecture.
• Experience developing and managing APIs.
• Strong experience with Javascript UI frameworks including Angular.
• Experience maintaining design documents.
• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on application development, including design documentation, coding, unit testing and integration testing of web apps with SQL backend and Angular frontend components.
• Use established DevSecOps toolchains for building, merging, deploying, and testing software components.
• Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures and queries for large shared databases.
• Design, develop and maintain APIs following architectural and security best practices.
• Design, develop and maintain web front-end pages using Angular.
• Coordinate with Scrum Master, Technical Leads, and other developers on cross-functional team to produce Features and User Stories from business requirements for planning and execution with development team.
• Work closely with testers and end-users to identify root-cause and resolve issues.
