Job summary

Evolver Inc is seeking a Senior .NET/ColdFusion Application Developer & Application Architect in Washington, D.C. to support client projects requiring a Public Trust and Background Clearance.

You will work with a team to modernize and extend ColdFusion, Java and .Net applications on SQL Server and Oracle, taking lead on tasks and mentoring peers. The role emphasizes Agile development in an Azure DevOps environment, with a focus on delivering secure, scalable software and effective stakeholder

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience developing web applications using ColdFusion and .Net.
• 5 years of front-end development with JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, CSS, XHTML/HTML5.
• 5 years with back-end languages (CFML, ASP, JSP, Java) and JS frameworks (Angular.js, React, Node.js, Blazor).
• 5 years of experience with REST API endpoints.
• 5 years of experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• 3 years in Windows ecosystem, AD, DNS, Load-Balancing, Windows server maintenance.
• 3 years debugging web pages and using browser dev tools.
• 3 years with Visual Studio, VS Code, Azure Data Studio, SSMS.
• 3 years developing and maintaining ColdFusion and .Net apps.
• 3 years designing web apps with ColdFusion, SQL/Oracle.
• 3 years database design, T-SQL/PL-SQL, query optimization.
• 3 years with ETL tools (SSRS/SSIS) desirable.
• 3 years Azure DevOps Build/Release (prefer On-Prem).
• US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead small development teams and mentor peers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Review and enhance documentation and project Wikis.
• Work across multiple projects in an Agile/Azure DevOps environment.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication with non-technical customers.
• Ensure secure, reliable, scalable software in high-stakes environments.
