Job summary

Truist is seeking a Software Engineer to independently design, develop, test, and maintain Wealth & Trust applications and integration services. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and resilient solutions while modernizing legacy platforms and migrating to cloud-based architectures.

The candidate will work with .NET/C#, SQL Server, Node.js, Angular, REST APIs, and AWS services, collaborating with Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, Data, and Business teams to improve client experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Wealth & Trust applications and integration services.
• Modernize legacy applications with API enablement, cloud migration, and technical debt reduction.
• Develop web applications, APIs, background services, and event-driven solutions using .NET, Node.js, Angular, SQL Server, and AWS services.
• Integrate across enterprise platforms, vendor systems, cloud services, and legacy environments using APIs, messaging, and file-based interfaces.
• Deliver secure, observable, resilient, and supportable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, risk, and operational standards.
• Participate in modernization programs and cloud adoption initiatives to reduce risk and speed time-to-market.
