Job summary

Almaviva de Belgique is seeking a senior backend developer to build and support .NET 8+ services within a micro-services architecture, delivering reliable, scalable and secure code. You will participate in design, reviews and continuous improvement in a SCRUM environment.

The role requires deep expertise in SQL Server, message brokers, API integrations and cloud pipelines. Remote work from Europe, with EU citizenship requirement noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in backend development with .NET 8+.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices and cloud-native design.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and data integration.
• Experience with OAuth, ADFS and security best practices.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Ability to work in an agile SCRUM environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and support backend code in .NET 8.0+ with common libraries.
• Participate in the .NET implementation of a micro-services solution.
• Read/transform/write data from multiple sources to multiple destinations.
• Review and approve pull requests; implement tests.
• Create and manage build/release pipelines and TestPlans in Azure DevOps.
• Create Kubernetes helm charts for applications and services.
• Write and optimize SQL Server Stored Procedures.
• Create Kibana dashboards and Elasticsearch queries.
• Write OAUTH mechanisms; ADFS knowledge is a plus.
• Document technical designs and communicate clearly within SCRUM.
