Algoworks is seeking an experienced Senior C#/.NET Developer to implement, test, troubleshoot, and improve scalable enterprise applications. You will work across APIs, microservices, background processing, messaging, databases, and legacy .NET components.

This hands-on role emphasizes production code delivery, automated tests, and performance improvements within an established technical direction. You will contribute to code reviews, estimation, and production validation.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software‑development experience with strong, current hands‑on C#/.NET skills.
• Modern .NET stack including ASP.NET Core, Web API, DI, middleware, configuration, LINQ, and serialization.
• Experience with microservices, distributed applications, or high‑volume service‑based systems.
• Strong asynchronous and concurrent programming skills (async/await, cancellation, thread safety, bounded concurrency).
• Experience with messaging technologies (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Event Hubs).
• SQL Server proficiency including complex queries, transactions, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Entity Framework Core or Dapper or similar data‑access tech.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and production‑support capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Implement production features and defects using C# and modern .NET.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, microservice components, background workers, and message consumers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code per designs and acceptance criteria.
• Deliver automated unit tests across all layers for each change.
• Implement asynchronous processing, retries, timeouts, and recovery workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues across code, SQL Server, messaging, APIs, and integrations.
• Profile and optimize CPU, memory, and database access; improve testability and maintainability.
• Add logging, metrics, tracing, and diagnostics; participate in code reviews and production validation.
