Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design and build scalable backend components, services, and APIs using .NET Core and/or .NET Framework, with a focus on maintainability and enterprise standards.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions, maintain Azure DevOps pipelines, monitor Azure logs, and support production deployments and release activities.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience developing scalable backend components, services, and APIs using .NET Core and/or .NET Framework.
Experience designing solutions that align with enterprise architecture and maintainability standards.
Experience using Azure DevOps to develop and maintain build and release pipelines.
Experience monitoring Azure logs, managing Azure alerts, and configuring new alerts.
Experience supporting production deployments and troubleshooting release-related issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

Design scalable application components using .NET Core and/or .NET Framework.
Develop backend services and APIs to support complex business workflows.
Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for build, deployment, and release activities.
Participate in production release activities and troubleshoot deployment issues.
Monitor Azure logs and configure alerts as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders on absence management and insurance projects to reflect business rules.
Mentor less-experienced engineers in .NET development practices.
