Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design scalable components, backend services, and APIs supporting complex workflows. You’ll build Azure DevOps pipelines, participate in releases, monitor logs, and collaborate with stakeholders on insurance-related projects.

Strong mentorship and communication skills are required to guide junior engineers and ensure enterprise architecture alignment. Remote role with flexibility and ongoing wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing scalable applications, backend services, and APIs using .NET Core and/or .NET Framework.
• Experience designing solutions that align with enterprise architecture and maintainability standards.
• Experience using Azure DevOps to develop and maintain build and release pipelines.
• Experience monitoring Azure logs, managing Azure alerts, and configuring new alerts.
• Experience supporting production deployments and troubleshooting release-related issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable components using .NET Core/.NET Framework for maintainability.
• Develop backend services and APIs to support complex workflows.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
• Participate in production releases and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Monitor Azure logs and manage alerts to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on insurance-related features and compliance.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers in .NET practices.
