Job summary

Benifex is building a new engineering team to scale our platform and onboard customers. You will work on the Benefits product in C#.NET/.NET Core, with ownership from development through release, in a remote-friendly setup based in the UK or Ireland.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, focus on AI-assisted development, and contribute to system stability, observability, and secure, performant code.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial backend experience with C#.NET and .NET Core.
• Strong SQL skills and data handling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features for the Benefits product in C#.NET and .NET Core.
• Own the quality of shipped code, test, fix defects, and improve team practices.
• Write clear, maintainable code following conventions and review PRs.
• Improve code quality with accessibility, performance, and security considerations.
• Contribute to system stability and incident resolution with seniors.
• Enhance observability, alerts, and runbooks for production readiness.
• Collaborate with Product/Design/Engineering to ensure outcomes and progress.
• Work with remote teams including Java Spring Boot engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Support onboarding of new engineers and evolve AI-assisted development practices.
