Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Microsoft .Net/Azure) to guide the design and development of complex web applications. This is a remote position, with responsibility for collaborating across teams and aligning technical solutions with business needs.

You will mentor junior developers, estimate effort for PBIs, work with .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL, and ensure quality through QA and testing. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with Microsoft C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Telerik Kendo UI, and SQL Server/Azure SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to standardize coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members.
• Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and produce detailed proposals to resolve.
• Support testing and remediate defects.
• Guide, coach, and mentor entry and mid-level developers.
• Present web applications to internal stakeholders.
