Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking a Senior Programmer in Downtown Los Angeles to lead and assist with designing and developing production applications. The role offers a hybrid schedule with optional in-office presence and collaboration with the Technology team.

The candidate will demonstrate strong C#, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery skills, plus experience with SQL and Xamarin. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and several years of programming experience are required, with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of C#, ASP.NET, and SQL programming experience.
• 6 years of relevant programming experience, preferably.
• Minimum 3 years of HTML/CSS UI development experience, preferably.
• Minimum 2 years of Ajax, JavaScript, and jQuery programming experience, preferably.
• Minimum 2 years of Xamarin (iOS/Android) programming experience, preferably.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing comprehensive computing solutions to solve user business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining Latham production applications and recommending solutions.
• Collaborating with development staff, analysts, and end-users on requirements and functionality.
• Coding, testing, and debugging application systems; developing development prototypes.
• Leading projects of various sizes from design to deployment.
• Protecting sensitive and proprietary information.
