Job summary
ASSYST is seeking a Senior .NET Application Architect to lead the technical remediation and architecture of the Comptroller Automation Platform in Tallahassee, FL onsite. The role focuses on modernizing and aligning over 1,500 interfaces, applications, databases, and reporting systems, guiding legacy-to-.NET migrations, and driving architecture decisions.
The candidate will enforce coding standards, improve security, and provide technical guidance across the .NET ecosystem while mentoring teams
Qualifications
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
- RESTful Web APIs experience.
- SQL Server data design and performance tuning.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD and cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end .NET solutions and document ADRs.
- Lead legacy-to-.NET migrations and evaluate new tech stacks.
- Perform fit-gap analyses and align critical financial processes.
- Enforce SOLID principles and review PRs; fix security issues with SonarQube.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate Azure services.
- Mentor development teams and maintain technical documentation.
