Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a .NET Architect with AWS expertise to design scalable web applications in a hybrid role based in Hartford, CT. You will collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to deliver secure solutions using React.js, C#, .NET Core, and PostgreSQL.

You will lead UI component design, API integration, and best practices while mentoring teams and ensuring performance, accessibility, and deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with React.js, C#, .NET Core, AWS, PostgreSQL, and modern development practices.
• Strong experience designing and consuming REST APIs, including authentication and error handling.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL, indexing, and performance-focused data access.
• Proven experience with GitHub-based source control, PRs, code reviews, and branching.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor teams.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop modern web applications using React.js, C#, .NET Core, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Lead the development of reusable UI components and promote front-end best practices.
• Integrate, troubleshoot, and optimize REST APIs for backend communication.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews and mentoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
• Support performance, accessibility, and deployment readiness.
• Manage source code and workflows using GitHub including PRs and branching.
