Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high‑quality technology solutions.

Responsibilities include building scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud/onsite solutions, while following engineering best practices and contributing to CI/CD, automation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET Core and Microsoft tech.
• Experience building applications using AWS cloud services.
• Strong Python programming capabilities.
• Experience with SQL Server including design, queries, and tuning.
• Experience delivering across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Designing scalable backends and APIs.
• Knowledge of softwareDev best practices and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile delivery environment.
