Job summary

The Department of Homeland Security is seeking a Senior Application Developer to design, develop, and deliver web-based and mobile applications using .NET technologies. You will implement business solutions, enhance reporting, and monitor performance while collaborating with analysts and government clients.

Key duties include mentoring developers, ensuring secure, high-quality code, and integrating with various data platforms. Onsite work in Washington, DC within ASD Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 11–15 years of experience in design, development, delivery and enhancement of client-server/web/cloud/mobile apps using .NET, ASP & C#.
• Experience with .NET/ASP/Visual C#, SQL Server.
• Hands-on with Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP and WebLogic is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy applications supporting case and program management.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of developers.
• Ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable software delivering for government clients.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to keep applications secure and defect-free.
• Document processes, SOPs, and system diagrams as needed.
