Job summary

Gointellects Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking an App. Technical Specialist Senior to lead design, development and deployment of government IT services, ensuring secure, high‑quality applications and adherence to standards.

You will mentor developers and work closely with DHS OIS and partner agencies to meet program priorities. Ideal candidates have hands‑on experience with .NET/ASP/Visual C#, SQL Server and SQL; exposure to Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, BPEL, PHP or WebLogic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience delivering IT services in government context.
• Strong knowledge of .NET/ASP/Visual C# and SQL databases.
• Experience with system design and deployment methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Convey technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
• Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products.
• Coordinate programming activities of the application development team.
• Resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy, or feasibility of computer processing and project design.
