Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an Application Developer within the IT Gas and CO2 Systems team to build and maintain business applications for one of North America's largest energy infrastructure companies.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy solutions using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and T-SQL, collaborating with IT and business units. Experience with Agile/Waterfall, CI/CD, and reporting tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft technologies in an application development environment.
• Extensive experience in using T-SQL to write and maintain complex business solutions.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the .NET application model.
• Must be fluent in.NET framework environment (C#/VB.NET/ASP.NET/MVC), SQL Server data management.
• 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing C# .NET and SQL Server-based solutions, tools, and applications.
• Experience in the project life cycle, Design, Development, Testing, Migrations, and Implementations.
• Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate systems requirements verbally and in writing.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with prioritization and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Convert business specifications into functional and technical specification documents.
• Collaborate with IT and business customers in designing and developing solutions.
• Develop, support, and integrate applications using standard practices.
• Adhere to Waterfall and AGILE SDLC and project management principles.
• Evaluate opportunities for improvements within standards and platforms.
• Analyze and document technical capabilities and requirements for new/existing systems.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Troubleshoot interface software and debug application code.
