Job summary

The SCADA Specialist at Kinder Morgan, Inc. will support and maintain real-time SCADA systems across North America for products and natural gas pipelines.

You will participate in application configuration, design, and development, including graphics and reports, following KM SCADA standards. Responsibilities include SCADA system administration, interface development with business IT, and collaboration with Engineering, Control Center, and Operations to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 3+ years’ experience with SCADA, Automation or real-time systems.
• Experience with GeoSCADA or Ignition.
• Basic programming skills and familiarity with OO methods.
• SQL database and stored procedures experience.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide SCADA system administration and management.
• Ensure KM SCADA procedures and standards are met.
• Analyze, design and implement SCADA apps, HMIs, and reports.
• Develop data interfaces between business and SCADA apps.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to meet requirements.
• Provide hardware and software SCADA support with IT.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Telecom teams on maintenance.
• Develop documentation for design and use of applications and procedures.
