Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Front End .Net Engineer to join our Workplace Services Engineering team in Southlake and Austin. You will design and build scalable UI for retirement and workplace applications, mentor teammates, and drive modernization using modern technologies.

You will work in a highly collaborative environment, leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate delivery and ensure accessibility, performance, and reliability across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of front-end web-UI development experience.
• Extensive Angular and TypeScript experience.
• Extensive design experience to lead/validate designs across portfolio.
• Unit testing patterns (TDD/BDD) with karma/jasmine.

Responsibilities

• Help build a scalable platform for Workplace market applications.
• Design and build scalable platforms for Retirement Plan Services applications.
• Drive UI modernization and foundational system improvements.
• Improve platform stability, performance, and resilience.
• Modernize legacy components with high-risk remediation while maintaining standards.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development and improve quality.
• Collaborate with teammates across disciplines and mentor others.
