Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Backend Software Engineer in Texas to build scalable applications using C# and .NET Core. You’ll work on-site in Southlake, collaborating with engineers, business partners, and stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable software that enhances client experience.

You’ll evaluate requirements, tackle complex design and production issues, and apply modern development, testing, and release practices to ship quality features.

Qualifications

• Experience developing backend applications using C# and .NET Core.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and validating scalable software solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and restore live application services.
• Experience applying secure development, compliance, and software quality practices.
• Ability to evaluate requirements, constraints, and technical tradeoffs to make sound decisions.
• Experience collaborating within an Agile software development environment.
