Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Texas is seeking a Software Application Engineer to contribute to a distributed Java-based ecosystem, using micro-frontend and microservices patterns. You will build Angular-based front-ends delivering high-performance, accessible, and secure client experiences.

You will collaborate with Sales & Service Technology teams, follow enterprise Angular and Java standards, participate in full SDLC, and grow skills in cloud deployment, CI/CD, and modern engineering

Qualifications

4-6 years of experience building applications using Java, Spring, and Web Services or similar projects.
2+ years of Angular front-end development (or similar TypeScript framework).
Exposure to containers and microservices concepts in cloud environments.
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline concepts and cloud deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

Contribute to agile teams delivering scalable, resilient software across the Sales & Service Technology portfolio.
Apply and grow skills across Java, Angular, micro-frontend, and microservices platforms.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, and stakeholders to understand objectives.
Participate in full SDLC activities—design, implementation, testing, release, and production support.
