Job summary

Quantic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in NestJS and TypeScript to lead backend microservice design and scaling for our POS platform, focusing on low-latency transaction processing and gateway integrations.

This is a 100% onsite role in Exton, PA, with opportunities to shape distributed systems, data sync, and cloud deployments in a fintech/POS environment. You will collaborate with product, DevOps, and security teams to ensure high availability and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering experience focusing on NestJS, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience with POS/fintech or payment processing is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend services using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Develop secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and webhooks for terminals and POS apps.
• Architect distributed systems for fault tolerance and offline-online data sync.
