PJM Interconnection, LLC in Pennsylvania is seeking a Sr./Lead Compliance Analyst focused on NERC Reliability Standards within the FERC and Reliability Compliance Department. The role involves communicating standards, maintaining knowledge of developments, and leading compliance audits.

You will participate in PJM compliance initiatives, prepare for audits, and work with PJM Members and Stakeholders to manage tasks while ensuring reliability and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in Utility Operations and/or Planning.
• Experience with compliance requirements (0-5 years).
• Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience with verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with interchange arrangements, Bulk Power relationships, and FERC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in recurring audits of each Transmission Owner’s compliance with PJM’s Transmission Owner/Transmission Operator Matrix.
• Prepare PJM for NERC and Regional Compliance Audits, Spot Checks, and Self-Certifications.
• Participate in strengthening PJM’s controls where non-compliance could impact reliability, finances, or reputation.
• Coordinate with PJM Members and Stakeholders to manage compliance tasks effectively.
