EMED Group, a leading healthcare logistics provider, seeks a Senior Operations Lead at Bristol Ambulance HQ to drive NEPTS and event medical services. You will mentor Team Leaders, monitor performance, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Based at the Bristol base, the role entails governance, contingency planning, and close collaboration with Control, Resourcing, Fleet and Clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient transport services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in ambulance, patient transport or healthcare operations.
• Experience supervising staff and building effective operational teams.
• Strong understanding of NEPTS service delivery and performance.
• Experience using KPIs to drive improvements.
• Knowledge of governance, quality and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Support the Senior Operations Manager in NEPTS and event medical services.
• Maintain day-to-day operational performance and safety.
• Escalate issues to the Senior Operations Manager.
• Identify operational risks and action performance concerns.
• Collaborate with Control, Resourcing, Fleet, Clinical and others.
• Plan demand changes, new services and mobilisation.
• Maintain visibility across Bristol Ambulance bases and contracts.
• Support governance and compliance across NEPTS and events.
• Line-manage Team Leaders and mentor staff.
• Coordinate event medical operations and staff induction.
