Job summary

EMED Group's Bristol Ambulance team seeks an Emergency Care Assistant to join our frontline crew in Bristol. You will work with paramedics on ambulances, respond to 999 and transfer calls, and deliver high-quality pre-hospital care.

You will perform vehicle checks, support clinical teams, and ensure readiness of vehicles and equipment. Permanent roles with 4-on/4-off or 2-on/6-off options, with pension, life cover and extensive wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Essential ambulance driving qualifications required.
• Relevant emergency care certificates preferred.
• Commitment to patient safety and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and urgent calls with clinical teams.
• Support patient assessment, observations, and basic life support.
• Maintain vehicle checks and operational readiness.
