Job summary

Verida, Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to lead the provider network compliance for Wisconsin NEMT operations, ensuring drivers, vehicles, and business processes meet contractual, regulatory, credentialing, and safety requirements.

You will oversee audits, inspections, incident reporting, corrective actions, and investigations, coordinating with clients, regulators, and internal teams to uphold standards and minimize risk.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer service experience.
• 3+ years in compliance, risk management, or regulatory oversight.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• 5 years of experience in NEMT, EMS, public transit, or related transportation environment preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Medicaid NEMT regulations, contract compliance requirements.
• Experience leading compliance monitoring programs, internal audits, inspections, corrective action plans, investigations, and documentation reviews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution, maintenance, and renewal of transportation provider agreements to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, credentialing, and operational requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, providers, and internal departments to support compliance and operations.
• Direct all aspects of provider network compliance operations, including credentialing, records management, inspections, and monitoring activities.
• Verify and maintain current provider, driver, vehicle, insurance, certification, licensing, and training documentation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, audit methodologies, monitoring tools, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate and conduct annual, bi-annual, monthly, random, and spot inspections to ensure compliance with agreements and performance standards.
• Identify, investigate, analyze, and report compliance risks; develop corrective actions and remediation strategies.
• Respond to alleged violations by conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, quality concerns, fraud, waste, and abuse; perform root cause analyses and coordinate resolutions.
• Monitor compliance activities across departments and collaborate to identify trends and mitigate risks.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, providers, and regulators regarding compliance matters.
• Ensure records, reports, and documentation are maintained and submitted within required timeframes.
• Direct provider and employee compliance training initiatives and related personnel development.
