Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Nested Level II MT/PT UTT ISQ Qualified Technician in Sweeny, TX for on-site NDT inspections. You will set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment, perform tests, interpret results, and report findings in accordance with applicable standards.

The role requires an UTT ISQ certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred coursework. Candidates should have experience with NDT methods, knowledge of equipment, and be capable of supervising others as

Qualifications

• UTT ISQ Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques with safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts and indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections and potentially supervise others.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
