Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for a Nested Level MT/PT/UTT ISQ Qualified II Technician in Texas. The role covers setup and calibration of NDT equipment, conducting tests to detect defects, and applying testing criteria per standards while ensuring safety and quality.

You will interpret radiographs and other readouts, organize and report results, and may train or supervise others. A strong technical NDT background and Level II certification are required.

Qualifications

• UTT ISQ Certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred.
• Certified Level II with a technical background in NDT methods.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and report writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination under inspection, adhering to safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
