Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II UT, MT, PT, or RT.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret inspection results.
• Knowledge of NDT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect defects using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques with strict safety adherence.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRTs or digital readouts and meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
