Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a seasoned NDT professional to lead and support non-destructive testing across manufacturing, engineering, programs, field personnel and suppliers. You will design, develop, and implement NDT methods, perform evaluations, and train inspectors to industry standards and company requirements.

Qualified candidates will hold Level III readiness, with 3+ years in production environments, and the ability to certify ASNT/NAS 410 or equivalent in multiple methods.

Qualifications

• Certifiable to Level III in at least 3 NDT methods.
• Minimum 3 years professional experience working in a production environment.
• Capability to acquire ASNT certification within 2 years.
• Experience training NDT Inspectors.
• Experience using automated and/or robotic inspection systems.
• Experience with NDT of Castings, weldments, and composite structures.
• Experience working on a NDT team as a lead or one of the lead technicians.
• Familiarity with Computed Radiography (CR) or Digital Radiography (DR).
• Familiarity with industry NDT standards (ASTM, AMS,...)

Responsibilities

• Audits NDT inspection facilities.
• Provides recommendations on specifications, capabilities, limitations, and benefits of NDT methods.
• Develops course material and trains NDT inspectors in accordance with industry standards and company requirements.
