Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Nondestructive Evaluation Engineer Level III to serve NSWC Carderock customers with experimental design and trade-off studies.

This role requires in-person support and a strong background in Navy/commercial NDT&E standards, including testing methods and certification requirements. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required. Compensation ranges from $103,428 to $150,143 annually, USD.

Qualifications

• NDT&E knowledge aligned to Navy/commercial specifications.
• 7+ years in NDT&E methods including listed techniques.
• 2+ years in engineering/research design for experimental design and trade studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical review and consultation to RDT&E activities on adequacy of specification, production processes, material availability, dimensioning and tolerance, design, producibility and inspectability, standardization and cost control techniques.
• Support in-person engineering tasks and experiments at NSWC Carderock.
• Lead design reviews and contribute to trade-off studies and risk assessments.
