Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced NDE Technician to perform non-destructive examinations on welds, piping, and pressure vessels at industrial sites. You will use UT, RT, MT, PT, and VT methods, prepare reports, and coordinate with QA/QC and project teams.

Applicants should have 8 years of NDE experience in industrial settings, ASNT Level II credentials, and should hold a TWIC Card and Driver's License. Strong focus on safety and compliance with client specs is essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of NDE experience in industrial settings.
• ASNT Level II or equivalent certification for required methods.
• TWIC Card and valid Driver's License are required.
• Proficiency in UT, RT, MT, PT and VT techniques and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDE examinations on welds, piping, and pressure vessels.
• Draft accurate daily reports based on site observations.
• Coordinate inspections with QA/QC, welding inspectors, and project supervision.
• Identify indications and ensure compliance with client specs and codes.
• Maintain calibration and suitability of inspection equipment.
• Support client audits and quality documentation reviews.
