Job summary

TIR FIELD MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking an NDE Level III with deep expertise in UT and MT to lead technical standards across projects in the Houston area. You will develop procedures, ensure compliance with industry codes, and mentor field staff while driving new NDE methodologies for growth.

The role requires leadership experience, travel readiness, and a track record of operational excellence in pipeline integrity and oil & gas contexts.

Qualifications

Current ASNT or ACCP/ISO 9712 Level III certification in UT and MT required.
Additional Level III certifications in PT, RT, ET, or VT preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive NDE experience, including pipeline integrity, oil & gas fabrication, and field operations.
Minimum 5 years of leadership, supervisory, or technical management experience.
Extensive knowledge of pipeline integrity inspections, construction/fabrication inspection, and oil & gas operations.

Responsibilities

Serve as the company's designated Level III technical authority for NDE methods.
Develop, implement, and maintain NDE procedures and technical standards.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, PHMSA and client specs.
Evaluate new NDE technologies and equipment for growth and commercialization.
Design and maintain training, qualification, testing, and certification programs.
Review technician certifications and competency development plans.
Provide SME support during client meetings, proposals, and industry events.
Support business development with technical marketing materials and client relationships.
Assist leadership with strategic planning, budgeting, and new service offerings.
Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance in all activities.
