Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced NDE professional to lead the development and standardization of non-destructive examination procedures across manufacturing sites. You will ensure compliance with industry standards, train staff, and act as the global NDE Certification Authority to drive quality and safety.

The ideal candidate holds ASNT Level III in RT/UT with additional MT/PT/VT certification, 3–5 years in NDE QA, and strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level III in RT and UT with ability to certify others.
• 3–5 years in NDE inspection or QA in manufacturing.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and write global NDE procedures and acceptance criteria.
• Standardize NDE operations across manufacturing locations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, customer specs and Flowserve QA requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality control to resolve NDE issues.
• Provide training and guidance to personnel involved in NDE activities.
• Operate as the global NDE Certification Authority.
• Stay current with industry developments, NDE technology advancements and regulatory changes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote safety awareness and risk mitigation.
• Support escalated vendor and customer NDE quality concerns requiring SME review.
• Support NDE personnel inspecting incoming materials, components, and finished products.
• Support NDE personnel performing UT, MT, PT, RT and VT inspections.
• Interpret NDE results and recommend further evaluation or corrective action.
• Support vendor NDE procedure reviews and quality audit reviews.
