Job summary

Tirusa is seeking a Corporate Level III NDE professional to lead, standardize, and advance Non-Destructive Examination programs across the company. You will serve as the SME for ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, and client specs, while directing training and certification initiatives for Level I–III staff.

This role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a track record in pipeline integrity and oil & gas operations. Occasional travel and client-facing responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT or ACCP/ISO 9712 Level III certification in UT and RT required.
• Additional Level III certifications (PT, MT, ET, VT) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive NDE experience in pipeline integrity and oil & gas projects.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership or technical management roles.
• Extensive knowledge of pipeline integrity inspections and ASME/API/ASTM/WAM specifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s Level III technical authority for assigned NDE methods.
• Develop, implement, and maintain NDE procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and client specifications (ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, PHMSA).
• Evaluate new NDE technologies and equipment for growth and commercialization.
• Design and manage NDE training, qualification, testing, and certification programs.
• Review technician certifications and competency development plans.
• Mentor Level I–III personnel through classroom and field training.
• Operate as SME during client meetings, proposals, and industry events.
• Support business development with technical marketing and client relations.
• Assist leadership with strategic planning, budgeting, and new service offerings.
