Castelion is seeking a Senior NDE Level II Technician to lead in-process and final inspections of solid rocket motor systems and related aerospace hardware at our Torrance facility. The role emphasizes Digital Radiography, Computed Tomography, and phased array ultrasonic testing to ensure compliance with drawings, procedures and acceptance criteria.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, document findings, and support nonconforming condition resolution while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical / trade schooling preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on NDE inspection experience, preferably in aerospace or defense.
• Current or previous NDE Level II qualification in DR, CT, PAUT, MT, VT/Weld Inspection.

Responsabilités

• Lead in-process and final inspections to verify product quality.
• Perform DR, CT, PAUT, MT, VT/Weld inspections on aerospace components.
• Interpret inspection results and document findings per procedures.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and coordinate with Level III, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability and safety compliance.
