Job summary

You will drive stakeholder engagement, FPIC processes, and benefits sharing across multiple projects, while staying current on market developments and supporting fundraising and market outreach as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years (or advanced degree with 3+ years) of relevant experience.
• Experience in carbon or NbS project development or markets.
• Experience working with Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
• Specialist knowledge in FPIC and benefits sharing.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to present to WWF management.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support NMU deal leads in origination, design, and development of carbon and NbS products, focusing on carbon removal credits.
• Advise deal teams on project development, market methodologies and standards, and broader market expectations.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement, benefit-sharing, and FPIC processes across NMU projects.
• Ensure projects align with international standards and WWF policies and impact goals.
• Assess projects led by others for climate, social, and biodiversity outcomes within policy context.
• Manage project delivery and stakeholder engagement across multiple projects.
• Support strategy development and fundraising efforts, or market outreach as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
