Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Navy Qualified Validator to support a PEO (SUB) program and oversee RMF A&A processes.

The role requires DoD RMF expertise, strong leadership, and proven ability to assess and validate cyber security controls within Navy system environments. The position expects a DoD SECRET clearance, 7+ years of relevant experience, and certification as a Level II and/or III Navy Validator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or relevant field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in DoD IT systems and C&A processes.
• Certification as a Level II and/or III Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) per DoD RMF guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Navy Undersea System SME support to NAVSEA PEOs and program managers.
• Oversee and assess the cybersecurity RMF A&A process and certify residual risk for RMF authorization.
• Conduct independent assessments of management, operational, and technical controls to validate implemented baselines.
• Support government program managers in evaluating cybersecurity documentation from the prime system integrator.
