ORBIS Inc. seeks a Manager, Program/Project III to lead complex Navy programs, overseeing engineering, finance, risk, and scheduling.

The role ensures milestones are met, provides technical oversight, and drives performance improvements across cross-functional teams in a Navy-centric environment. The ideal candidate will bring extensive Navy program experience, strong planning skills, and the ability to coordinate large-scale efforts while maintaining regulatory compliance and stakeholder

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in program management for Navy HM&E, navigation or combat systems.
Experience with Navy modernization processes, scheduling, estimating, and WBS management.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage large-scale Navy programs, including R&D, test & evaluation, new construction, and mid-life modernization.
Oversee engineering, financial management, risk management, scheduling, and planning aspects of programs.
Provide technical oversight to meet milestones and performance standards.
Monitor and report task progress and address issues or risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets.
Maintain stakeholder communications with regular updates on status and performance.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
