Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a highly skilled Non-Propulsion Electronics Senior Navy Project Lead with expertise in U.S. Navy acquisition programs and submarine payload systems.

This role leads cross-functional teams across design, development, certification, testing, and delivery of electronics for Virginia-Class and Columbia-Class payload systems. The successful candidate will provide technical and programmatic leadership, with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex acquisition

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
• Degree requirements may be adjusted based on specialized knowledge or experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience supporting U.S. Navy programs.
• Experience in program management, technical leadership, systems integration, or related leadership role.
• Experience with submarine electronics, combat systems, payload systems, or other mission-critical submarine systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the timely completion of program assignments.
• Serve as the primary Systems Integration and Test Lead.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for Navy programs.
• Review program documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide effective written and oral communication to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with government, engineering, shipbuilding, manufacturing, and industry partners.
