Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking a Senior BFM Analyst to lead financial planning, execution oversight, and strategic resource management for Navy acquisition programs. You will craft spend plans, guide program teams through PPBE cycles, and deliver decision-ready insights while collaborating with government partners.

Hybrid/onsite work options apply. The role requires senior-level advisory skills, mentoring of analysts, and an active Secret clearance to align resources with evolving program priorities

Qualifications

• Significant experience in financial management or financial analysis for federal or acquisition programs.
• Experience using Navy ERP or comparable federal FM systems for planning and oversight.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and modern analytics tools.
• Proven ability to deliver senior-level financial insights, briefings and decision-support materials.
• Ability to collaborate across Government program offices and functional teams.
• Active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and oversight of spend plans aligning budget controls with program strategy.
• Oversee financial execution tracking using Navy ERP; review commitments and expenditures for accuracy.
• Conduct advanced analysis in Excel, Power BI, ADVANA and other FM tools to inform decisions.
• Guide PPBE activities including POM planning and long-range resource projections.
• Prepare senior-level financial briefings, program reviews and dashboards for leadership.
• Advise PMs, BFMs, contracting and logistics on acquisition financial workflows and risks.
• Lead responses to data calls and translate financial data into actionable guidance.
• Ensure data quality, reconciliation across government systems and reporting environments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level BFMs in execution tasks and financial processes.
