Job summary

Greenfield Engineering a Saalex Company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Lexington Park, MD to provide strategic financial management support to Naval Aviation programs. The role advises IPTs on funding, budgeting, and execution across multiple Navy systems and portfolios, ensuring successful program outcomes.

The position requires DoD acquisition experience, PPBE knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with IPTs, BFMs, and contracting teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Navy acquisition/financial management processes.
• Experience supporting large defense acquisition programs.
• Ability to develop and monitor budgets, spend plans, and funding documents.
• Experience collaborating with IPTs and diverse stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).

Responsibilities

• Maintain AMS CSPT requirements, funding data, spend plans, and baseline info with IPT Leads and BFMs.
• Track contract actions and program data in PMT.
• Develop PIDS packages and acquisition workflows with contracting officers and stakeholders.
• Analyze funding, profiles, actions, and program data to identify risks and shortfalls.
• Create spend plans, budget execution reports, and executive metrics for APN and RDT&E funds.
• Coordinate planning, resource allocation, actions, and financial execution across IPTs and contracting/finance teams.
• Prepare funding and de-obligation requests and supporting docs.
• Review POM submissions, budget exhibits, and financial impact statements.
• Develop executive briefings, reports, and decisions-relevant metrics.
• Support acquisition reviews, budget reviews, audits, and leadership planning.
• Mentor junior analysts on acquisition, budgeting, and financial processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
