Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Instructor to train senior naval personnel and civilians on naval maintenance staff. The role includes course development and delivering Ship Availability and Maintenance training.

The incumbent will need a strong background in naval leadership, extensive briefing experience, and the ability to communicate with senior naval and civilian personnel in a naval environment. This is a contingent hire based on contract award.

Qualifications

• Experience as an officer in leadership roles for material condition readiness.
• Command of at least one US surface ship as an O-5.
• Two years recent experience with shore management programs for surface ship maintenance.
• Strong communication with senior naval and civilian personnel.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to senior naval personnel and civilians.
• Participate in course development and ship availability and maintenance training.
• Conduct technical briefs at Senior Officer level and with ship wardrooms.
