Job summary

ICI Services Corporation seeks a Software Engineer IV to design, develop, and maintain software for naval applications in Washington, DC. You will participate in design reviews, fix bugs, optimize software, and implement algorithms as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required 10+ years in software engineering for naval systems, experience with Agile/DevOps, and proficiency in C/C++/Java/Python. DoD SECRET clearance eligibility is required; we are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software or computer engineering experience on similar systems.
• Experience with complex naval IT systems.
• Experience with unmanned systems architecture.
• Experience applying modern software development methodologies (Agile/DevOps).
• Experience in testing and debugging software components.
• Experience integrating software units into coherent systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software for naval applications.
• Participate in design reviews, fix bugs, optimize applications, and implement algorithms.
• Provide network architecture support and A&A engineering documents.
• Review SoS Architecture Framework to meet platform baseline.
• Assess software for vulnerabilities and ensure cybersecurity and mission requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and propose mitigations.
• Support software integration within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
