Job summary

ICI Services in Washington, DC is seeking a Naval Architect IV to grow with the company and contribute to complex naval architecture programs. The role focuses on lifecycle engineering support, design integration, and technical leadership across ship systems and unmanned platforms.

The candidate will provide technical Reviews, lead design discussions, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure program success. A strong background in naval architecture and DoD procedures is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in Naval Architecture.
Experience with DoD/DoN procedures and policies.
Supervisory experience and ability to communicate with SES/Flag personnel.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering reviews, requirements development, and develop objective quality evidence (OQE).
Serve as naval architecture SME across hull form, propulsion, structures, survivability and related systems.
Analyze mission requirements for UxV platforms, translate to design direction and configurations.
Support RFP activities, pre/post award meetings, and contractor interactions.
Assist in TEMP development, TRL evaluations, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
