Job summary

NDI Engineering Company in Thorofare, NJ is seeking a Project Lead Engineer to join our team and support design projects across naval ship hull, HM&E, and power plant systems. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of engineering experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong leadership and communication skills, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; PE or EIT preferred but not required.
7+ years of engineering experience.
Experience using AutoCAD and executing design projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Organize and assign design tasks in accordance with design processes.
Identify personnel requirements to support design development across disciplines.
Provide instruction, guidance and direction to design developers.
Make design decisions for the project team.
Communicate with the customer frequently regarding technical details and schedule.
