Job summary

NDI Engineering Company seeks an Electrical Engineer to support the design of US Navy test facilities and other projects. The position is on-site at our Thorofare, NJ office and requires collaboration with Navy engineers, vendors, and project teams.

Ideal candidates will have HM&E or power plant systems experience, AutoCAD proficiency, NEC knowledge, and strong attention to detail with effective communication skills. Salary ranges are provided for 60k–80k USD with security clearance requirement.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain DoD security clearance.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; PE or EI T preferred but not required.
At least 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
AutoCAD experience; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
On-site work at NDI headquarters in Thorofare, NJ.

Responsibilities

Design CAD drawings and models in AutoCAD 3D and 2D.
Review requirements and establish analyses criteria.
Interface with managers, design engineers, Navy engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
Conduct site investigations in an industrial environment as needed.
Document analyses supporting electrical design feasibility with engineering sketches.
Review drawings of electrical systems as needed.
Participate in design meetings with the project team and customers.
