Job summary

Ultra Maritime in Indiana seeks an experienced electronics technician to lead the integration, testing, and documentation of maritime defense systems. You will mentor junior staff and support project goals alongside engineers.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD clearance, with extensive hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, PCB rework, and soldering. Occasional travel and a collaborative team environment are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics is required.
• Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Office for reporting and documentation.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• 10+ years with digital test meters, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
• Experience with PCB rework and soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in building and testing electronic systems for maritime defense.
• Perform electrical testing, data collection, and instrumentation setup.
• Document results and configurations per procedures.
• Read wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to meet project goals.
• Travel up to 15% for field testing and customer support.
