Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Communications and Networks Specialist to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR) and its Science and Technology portfolio.

The individual should have experience in technology development, systems engineering and integration, and system optimization to address emergent Naval priorities as well as technical and operational expertise to assist ONR Program Officers in developing, managing, and executing portfolios that address priority Command, Control,

Qualifications

• Current TOP SECRET Clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial and military communications.
• Experience in anti-jam, low-probability-of-intercept techniques, adaptive equalization, signal processing.
• Experience in commercial standards, networking, interoperability, network management and network security issues.
• Understanding of Naval space-based communications and its applicability to broad Naval requirements.
• Experience in coordinating S&T development efforts with program schedules and technology deployment/transition.
• Experience in assessing requirements to develop technology roadmaps for S&T programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist ONR Program Officers in developing technology programs and roadmaps to address capability gaps.
• Monitor and evaluate S&T efforts funded in academia, government labs, and industry.
• Develop papers and presentations for diverse audiences describing the S&T portfolio and projects.
• Present briefings in support of ONR Program Officers.
• Work with ONR contracts to develop Statements of Work and requirements for S&T performers.
• Staff documents and briefings to gain program support and signatures as needed.
